Never underestimate the power of women's outrage, commitment, and fierce love for ourselves and each other.
WomensMarch.com: Over a thousand women, survivors, and allies rushed the stairs of the Supreme Court ... These folks are just some of the people who put their bodies on the line today to make our last stand against Brett Kavanaugh's illegitimate appointment to the Supreme Court of the United States. Our sisters and allies are facing a greater punishment for peaceful protest than Brett Kavanaugh is for being a serial abuser. Like me, many of them are survivors of sexual violence. And they were arrested for standing on the steps of our nation's highest court in protest of giving a sexual predator a seat in it.
Over 150 people were arrested.
Kavanaugh's nomination is an assault on women, immigrants, people of color and people with disabilities - and we will fight back. Women are ready to mobilize and organize.
