Patrick Crucius drove 650 miles to kill 20 people in El Paso. The photo above is from his Facebook page. He published a manifesto saying that Texas had been invaded by immigrants. it's clear to anyone with eyes wide open that he is a result of Donald Trump's racism and bigotry.
Idiot gun defenders say that the El Paso incident suggests that open carry should be made a nationwide policy. I say idiots because Texas IS open-carry and the 20 killed and 26 wounded happened in spite of many people carrying guns at the locale.
Both shooters used the weapons of choice for mass shooters-- high powered assault weapons with high capacity magazines. In Dayton, the shooter was stopped within one minute, yet he was able to kill nine people.
As usual, Moscow Mitch McConnell, who has blocked legislation to regulate guns, sent his thoughts and prayers.
