This is the letter that I sent to The Atlantic Magazine after reading the piece by David Frum; A New York Times Op-Ed Sparks a Crisis - The Atlantic concerning this anonymous Op-Ed by a senior Trump official published in The New York Times.

They asked people to write their opinion, so I did, because I was exhausted from hearing all the t alking heads and pundits spinning this message, according to heir 'identity' politics --some actually calling it 'fake news.' It was, to me --and many people whom I met, some assurance (but cold comfort) that there were adults in the room with that ignorant, impulsive narcissist who has a 'nuclear button.'

Dear sirs;

You asked for our opinion on David Frum's, "This Is a Constitutional Crisis."

I love David Frum's work, but he is mistaken here, and moreover, the ranting of the talking heads, 24/7, endlessly repeating the 'opinion' that speaking anonymously is cowardly, is also pushing opinion as truth.

Mr. Frum insinuates that we should be afraid to inflame this president, and that the duty of 'anonymous' is to 'do his utmost to remove him,' -- as if that is possible with a Congress that has stood by and watched him degrade the office. Everyone knows that 2/3 of the Congress will never agree to the 25th amendment. It is THEIR duty to reign him in!

President Trump fires anyone who does not agree with him, and will not tolerate any criticism. The op-ed cannot inflame this sociopath, or push him into madness that is any greater than what exists now. His madness is witnessed by the entire world. Our allies need to know that this is recognized from the inside, not just by those who write and sell books. WE the People are scared after seeing what Trump is doing, hearing the lies, and the insanity tripping from his tongue, and hearing what those around him have been saying long before Fear or Unhinged was published.

Certainly, our legislative body has not assured anyone that his full-blown insanity is recognized. With our corrupt Congress in collusion, someone in this nation needed to say what that piece says. THAT was the aim of the piece and the purpose behind the posting by the NY Times, because they know that this is a pivotal moment in history.

Someone in this nation needed to say what that piece says. The people of this nation are frightened by the inaction of the Congress, and recognize their unwillingness to contain the behavior that indicates not only his incompetence, but his inability to uphold the law of the land which he swore to do.

The ordinary folks whom I have spoken with, for the past few day have seen the same message: which is-- be assured, that there are cooler heads and sane adults there, because this guy has a nuclear button-- and he is a delusional, impulsive psychotic."

Even with that piece, few of us ferl assured that Trump can be contained before destroying everything we have come to expect about America.

But, somebody besides a talking head on tv, stood up and said what many of us recognize, that he is dangerous in his ignorance and his impulsiveness, and we will try to contain him as THE CONGRESS fails to do its job.

That was what I saw, and I am not a fool. I saw the erudition, too, and knew a very bright person wrote it. In 1998 I was the NY State Educator of Excellence, after a 40 year career as a teacher. I am also a playwright and I know that behavior defines a character. I am not stupid!

One more thing, all the talking heads and pundits that are crying that the oped was written by The Times and was calculated to sow division in the White House, only drowns the people in the idea that journalism can never be trusted, and this is 'fake news',
