It's great to see that lawyers are advertising, fishing for client cases to sue #Bayer/ #Monsanto for suffering and damages due to #Roundup and or #glyphosate .

Now that there have been a number of jury victories giving huge damage awards to patients who were hurt by glyphosate/Roundup, attorneys are starting to advertise to find clients who they can represent to sue Bayer/Monsanto. That's fabulous news.

That's fabulous news? You must have a real hate on for Bayer/Monsanto. I find it very disturbing in two ways:

1) A jury trial makes no sense for reaching a just decision on what should be seen as a technical (scientific) issue. It's unreasonable to expect jurors to acquire sufficient knowledge to be able to accurately second-guess study results. Rather, it's reasonable to expect jurors to be susceptible to emotional appeal.

2) Contingency lawyers drumming up business in this way are a blight on the justice system. I think it's disgusting to see lawyers fishing for clients and slavering over the prospect of big winnings.
