A few weeks ago I wrote an article " Its Not Grief When its Someone Else ." The last actions of the revolutionary "Syrian Free Army" I wrote about in the article was "As I post this another reporter has been kidnapped.. She is from Ukraine. She is being called a spy. Her kidnapping is also on YouTube." As I was finishing up the article, the kidnapping was reported by the NTN news station.

She is a young woman in her twenties. This young journalist is about to die.

There can be no outrage. Our government has helped setup and supports this army. We are sending Patriot missiles to defend the sky over the Turkish and Syrian border where the leaders of the Free Syrian Army are located with their families. There should be no outrage. The leaders of Europe and America have spent too much time and money setting up an interim government.

There won't be any outrage. Kidnapping and murder have become the common everyday fact of life in Syria. It promises to spread out of the region. The great liberating army is promising to attack the US and its interests when they are done with the ethnic cleansing of the Alawites, Shiites, and Christians. In very strong statements showing this is their intent, they once again, were kind enough to record it on YouTube.

The manufactured interim government representing all Syrian people has stated that the exuberance of the revolutionaries should be overlooked. When asked specifically about how much contact with, or direction they were giving the fighters they had to admit it was none. The fighter when interviewed by Al Jazeera, laughed at the idea of allowing any government to form that did not come from within their ranks and leadership.

The Syrian Free Army has started to set up Wahhabi courts to try criminals instead of simply executing local people. This move is to quell any outrage that is starting to brew over summary executions. If there is a trial they must follow some kind of law. Wahhabism and the legal variations of its judicial system are not natural to Syria because of its ethnic and religious diversity.

The first great crime in Wahhabi law is not being a Wahhabi. The first offense carries the death penalty. "Uniting with wahhabis is impossible until they completely abandon wahhabism. Without that Muslims are still a mushriks in the eyes of wahhabism and its permissible to shed muslim blood and the books of the wahhabi elders are filled with this. Wahhabism would continue to be influenced by these elders unless they abandon it completely and uniting with these people are dangerous as you don't when they will go mad like a rabid dog and kill you." - Sunnaforums.com

The young reporter mentioned above is charged with espionage. Her name is Anhar Kochneva. Her sentence is death or a $50 million dollar ransom. The statement from the Free Syrian Army was reported on the news and came once again in the form of a YouTube video. The translated quote that sums up the position of the FSA is "any government that does not care enough about its citizens to pay a ransom doesn't care about its citizens."

Her other option is being executed, which could well be your execution, or the execution of any and every journalist that reports the news. Reporting is espionage. The FSA has just kidnapped two Russian and one Italian expats. All are factory workers. Factory work is espionage. Being Russian or Italian is espionage.

This is ok? Our government helped set up the revolution to free a people that are afraid of its revolutionaries. The FSA could not have gained any ground without our support.

Don't be outraged. You never met her, you don't know her family. You will never meet them. I don't know yours either, but I promise if this was you instead, there would at least be one voice, and one persons outrage. I am outraged. This is one of the few places in western media you will see her name, the name of a young girl, just a girl.

The atrocity of the promised ethnic cleansing is at its beginning. The bandits, as the Syrian Free Army are known in Syria are gaining ground. Soon the holocaust will start, and the war will spread outside its borders. This is not speculation. It is one of the stated goals they record regularly on YouTube.

If we could work up outrage over the life of a young girl, maybe we can shame the purveyors of the "Syrian Winter" and stop the genocide of a people at its beginning. This may be a pipe dream. How do you express reproach for governments that know no shame?

Ultimately her life, a girl's life won't matter. It never did. She will become another digit in what makes up the long tally of genocide.

Please set up a tweet or a Face Book page in Anhar Kochneva's name and have your contacts like it. Contact Congress and send it to them; express shame for supporting the death squads.

Possibly, even the life of a girl you never met can matter; and maybe if she's even alive at this writing, the value of a young woman's life may be the beginning of bringing relief to an entire people.
