I am writing in response to the Geronimo article posted on this website a few days ago. Regarding the UNBELIEVABLY OFFENSIVE "Geronimo" code word for a terrorist, I am wondering if I can choke down any food today. In fact, the longer I think about it, the more OBVIOUS this screw-up by the Government becomes.
There is no way to view this "slip-up" that isn't an abomination. You Native Americans out there, what is your response? There has to be a lawsuit right there under the title! In the first place, Geronimo, Chief Red Cloud, Chief Joseph (an American name, by the way), Chief Sitting Bull, and too many others to list are heroes of the entire human race, in my humble opinion.
I smell a class action lawsuit and I bet millions of people would join us with you if you take that call. This is an incredible opportunity to be heard. I know that historically, no one has paid any attention to your lawsuits, but people in this country are very angry and frustrated right now. It just might work! Even the ACLU would be in on this one. It is an outright "hate crime" right in front of America's eyes.
Will we take the usual step? Nothing? I hope not. If we don't join together on this one, I am going to have to agree with Russell Means that there is something in the food and water because we can't all be that stupid. What has happened to the old and new hippies out there? What has happened to us that we can stand by and watch information like that sweep across a screen and do nothing?
I, for one, would join in a petition or class action suit. I am volunteering to take action concerning this "hate crime". Responses, please!
