The Founders and Framers of the Constitution did more than turn over in their graves... they actually returned from the dead to sing "The Day Democracy Died." It's epic.
If you are of a certain age, you'll recognize that they based their melodious admonitions on singer/songwriter Don McLean's "American Pie," the number-one US hit for four weeks in 1972 which also topped the charts in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. The repeated phrase "the day the music died" refers to the plane crash in 1959 that killed Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens.
Featured, in order of appearance: George Washington, John Adams, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton and John Jay.
It's a toe tapping parody with incredible animation - a new American Anthem!
