I am reminded of one of my favorite quotes on the basic topic. This, from Woody Allen:
"More than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. The other, to total extinction. Let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly."I suspect that throughout history and at about any moment therein mankind has faced the same, similar, or worse crossroads.
BUT I'd also say that WE RIGHT NOW face total extinction. In the very near future, on the questionable assumption that we haven't crossed the line over a decade or more ago.
With that mindset, I encourage you to watch what I truly see as our possible crack out of the door of hell. Sad to say, I mean "literally." But as always, make up your own mind.
