It's almost over, Truthseekers -- the endless madness and out-of-control spending that whips us into a frantic frenzy of constant conflict, bombards us with non-stop whirling colors and flashing propagandist imagery screaming from the telescreens urging us to buy buy buy what they're selling . . . no, I'm not talking about Christmas, but we "sellabrate" the birth of the tiny Baby Jesus in much the same way.
The Great American Election Machine finally ran out of liquid money this morning and slouched back to Bethlehem, er, Washington DC. Now we watch and wait. Some in resigned apathy, some with tightly crossed fingers, some clutching their Books of Mormon while murmuring in Tongues.
Still others watch with half-interest, jaded, knowing that DINO or RINO in the Oval Office matters not, it's the corporation(s) that holds the strings that counts. Thanks to the Supremes and Citizens United, the only "Citizens" that have power in America are of the corporate variety.
Until that hideous abomination of a ruling is overturned, free and fair elections are but dusty myths we whisper to our great-grandchildren about what life was like before Neo-Feudalism took over.
