Tom Perez, another hack noliberal former DNC chair, has been defeated by Wes Moore.
This comes as a surprise to me, but gives me hope.
In Virginia, past DNC Chair, another neoliberal hack, handed the state over to a crypto-maga Republican (a Repub who pretends he's not maga until he wins his election.)
Former DNC ChairDebbie Wasserman Schultz handed the presidency to Donald Trump, through her corrupt manipulation of the DNC.
So this Moore victory promises a future where neo-liberal duopoly Democrats face a diminished role in the Democratic hierarchy.
"During an interview with C-SPAN in August 2006, Moore self-identified as a fiscal conservative and social moderate.[70] During his gubernatorial campaign, Moore ran with a progressive lean.[71]"
I'd be interested in what readers know or dig up on him. Post-Dobbs, I think it's important that Maryland elect a Democratic Governor.
