The 'Evil' in lesser of two evils got a bit more evil with Hillary's VP pick of Tim Kaine.
As should be expected, Hillary has chosen a running mate who's about as conservative as you'll find in the Democratic aisle, with an "F" rating in terms of his Progressive Score.
Of course Hillary says "Tim is a lifelong fighter for progressive causes and one of the most qualified vice presidential candidates in our nation's history." If you're like me, you'll assume that she's lying. And here's the proof:
I'd call her choice a total stab in the back and spit in the face to progressives. It's clear that she doesn't care at all about progressive concerns. This is a harbinger of things to come.

The LA Times suggests that she chose him because he's been strong on gun control. I'm tempted to call that assessment idiotic. That may have been an important issue in the primaries but it is not going to play a major role in the general election. I don't believe people will make choices based on it.
Hillary supporters are calling him a progressive, saying he's supported by progressive groups. I say they are demonstrating the deep level of delusion they are functioning at. Yes he supports the absolute minimum a Democrat MUST support-- Planned Parenthood, so he gets a good rating there. But overall, he's, well, a natural fit for a right winger neoliberal like Hillary.
