Every Democratic candidate for president, Senate and House should be promising to investigate and prosecute Trump and his law-breaking appointees. Further, they should be advocating for legislation that requires that every outgoing president be investigated during his time in office and after, and then prosecuted if corruption on illegal behavior is found.

I would like to see Bernie Sanders, Mike Bloomberg, Elizabeth Warren, and the other Democratic candidates all declare that they WANT to be investigated and they will operate as a President who will be free from an corruption, that they will be happy to testify under oath and allow appointees to testify.

I will be furious if they do like Obama did with George Bush and refuse to investigate, saying "we look forwards, not backwards." This was a betrayal of all the people who voted for him.

I'd like to see this idea of asking for investigation to become a meme, so it goes viral and reaches the mainstream media and all the candidates.

Any ideas for hashtags? Maybe #investigateMe or #IWantToBeInvestigated

#InvestigateEveryPresident

And we can't let the traitorous Republican controlled Senate have the last word on Trumps criminal behavior. I'd like to see the Democratic candidates state that they will instruct their attorney general to investigate Trump and his crooked appointees and bring them to justice for crimes they've committed. Anything less would be a horrific travesty of justice.

What do you think? Should this be a part of their platforms?

Yes, 'traitorous Republican controlled Senate' and 'spineless' too - except if it had been a Democrat President all the GOP senators would have voted "YEA" 'remove from office'. The GOP has morphed into the #TrumpParty (leaving 'a Dictator' in charge) and not even worthy to take an 'oath' to 'render an impartial verdict' and protect, defend, and preserve the Constitution.

A worse punishment would be to sweep them away and never mention them again. I'm sick of dreary, predictable investigations. The only ones who profit from them are the lawyers, who are only too happy to drag them out. And prison is pointless as well. They should pay, that's all. But really pay! And then be forgotten. I'd pay for one day when the name Drumph didn't come up every five minutes and make me want to heave.

Sad times when have to agree with seeking that justice rather than a favorite quote of Tom Paine on the subject"

"An avidity to punish is always dangerous to liberty--It leads men to stretch, to misinterpret, and to misapply even the best of laws. He that would make his own liberty secure must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates his duty, he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself." --Thomas Paine

But if it gets the Domestic Tranquility of this goal of Tom Paine it be fine for them to retire up on their mansions on hills. (They get 3-cushion tables me and my pool friends will come.)

"When shall it be said in any country of the world, my poor are happy; neither ignorance nor distress is to be found among them; my jails are empty of prisoners, my streets of beggars; the aged are not in want, the taxes are not oppressive...when these things can be said, then may that country boast of its constitution and government."~ Thomas Paine

... to paraphrase a Famous Son of a Bush, "Investigate, or be investigated". A proper political snipe hunt requires 100% participation. Pedophile priests will be recalled from retirement-purgatory to take confessions from each and every political action figure. Prostitutes and pimps will pour over mug shots to identify political Johns.

Empty prisons of pot smokers, to make way for corrupt public servants! God's making a list, and checking it twice; gonna find out who's naughty or nice. Government is going to hell!

I love the idea of emptying prisons of pot users and replacing them with corrupt politicians and corporates.
