Blackwater Justice

Message robert braunstein

Seventeen innocents
Cut down like weeds
"We were under fire,"
They say of their deeds

Somebody's family,
All to pieces
Somebody's nephew, somebody's nieces.

"Compelled testimony
"Cannot be used."
Charges dismissed
Justice abused.

It was an honest mistake,
Those boys have immunity
We"re just here to help
To kill with impunity.

A man on a plane.
Sets himself on fire,
A terrorists act--
No one can admire

This time the law will be used
He will be jailed
It's not our kind of terror
This martyr has failed

We die for a country
It's martyrdom there
Just old fashioned killing
Humans beware.
