Senators Feinstein and Bennett are the leaders of the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration ( http://rules.senate.gov ) which oversees laws concerning elections.
The senators are still working on the Bipartisan Electronic Voting Reform Act that was announced in a press release at I learned June 16th they are still working on the legislation. So this would be a good time to get your legislation recommendations in to one or more of the members of the committee : http://rules.senate.gov/members/
If you are a constituent of one of the senators, I would start there. I would also try to keep the list of recommendations short, and as simple as possible.
Personally, I do not think anything will pass this year, but view this as an opportunity to educate the committee and to promote discussion of good ideas.
