I am glad to see Bernie reaffirming his battle for economic equity, justice, and limitations to the powers of the billionaire kleptocracy. He clarifies a lot in this vital 22 minute interview, and I hope you will take the time to share it widely with friends, colleagues, family, and relevant Facebook groups.

Standing strong on the key issues, and not backing down on any, yet he has refined and strengthened his focus and his ways of stating his insights and goals.

I have supported Bernie for many years, above all because I know that he will overhaul and revamp the FDA, whose regulatory powers have been usurped and perverted by corporations and their revolving doors between industry and government. The FDA oversees 30% of the US economy, and is among the most broken of federal agencies.

The drug companies are ripping us off; but the hospitals are doing the same. My personal experience taught me that an elderly person will be a cash cow for them, as they do unnecessary tests, administer meals that aren't eaten, drugs that may even do harm, but mostly stringing out the treatment to a hundred times its actual cost. A gas bubble ended up using two days in hospital six meals I couldn't eat and did not order, several serious pain pills to 'keep me still' for two CT scans, bombarding me with radiation in spite of the fact that the problem was not my kidneys, but gas. Finally a sympathetic night nurse stole two bottles of prune juice and I farted and checked myself out, no diagnosis, an accusation of drug hunting, insulted and fearfully cynical about my local hospital, Dominican in Santa Cruz, Ca. I reported them to Medicaid Fraud site, got nowhere. Hospitals are in on the scam, along with the drug companies; don't forget that.

To my knowledge (and I spend a lot of time searching), Sanders, as well as others pressing for "Medicare For All", have never openly discussed the fact that Pelosi, the most powerful Democrat in the House, has assured the "Health Industry" that it will not happen. Because this absurd divide is not dealt with, as if it wouldn't be polite, I simply can't take Sanders seriously.

Instead of throwing the baby out with the bathwater, why don't you write to Bernie and suggest that, rather than judging him harshly and preemptively about the omission that you have pointed to? Also send it to Ro Khanna!

You also clearly obviate and ignore the fact that Bernie has been hammering on this issue louder and longer than anyone else. Maybe he has his reason for not mentioning Pelosi in this context, but I can't and won't speculate. You really should write to both him and Ro.
