Burl B. Hall alongside Meredith Hall Are there many people who feel we live in a Healthy World? Do we experience hopelessness because of the big monies that own our world? Are we alienated living on our Planet? Are we alienated within our selves? Are many of us stating I don't care? I'm going to be dead anyway regarding the future of our species? Is that not caring, i.e., being alienated? It's interesting that Native Americans used to consider the consequences of their choices on their children through 7 generations. Yes, they targeted 7 generations. Why don't we have such a long-term mentality 7 generations to the future? Is it not true that most corporations speak of 5-year plans versus 7 generations? Indeed, even worse, their deepest attention is on the bottom line as of the next stockholders meeting. "Whoop-E" President Trump signifies. Do we foster deep love and caring regarding our future children? Of course, many of us Europeans/Americans ask; why should we foster 7 generations? In other words, "Who cares about our children and future generations?" One woman I knew stated, "I don't care about future generations, I'll be dead!" What kind of mentality is that? And, here we are, under the Corporations who get their jollies in fostering a monetary system that doesn't have anything behind it. What happened to the gold system? "Where did the gold go?" Ideas? I bet you know if you think about it. In this mess, how do we foster our Planet Earth in continuing to allow people, animals, plants, and various bodies to live in our world? According to various scientific studies, it appears extinction rates on our planet have arisen. Could it be that we the people are dancing towards a mass extinction alongside the dinosaurs? At this point, we must face the inevitable question: "Are we the people of the apocalypse"? Looked at with clear logic, the answer arises: "Apparently YES, we are heading towards apocalypse. No neurotic god is going to do it. We need to do it. Can we recognize the patterns of our psychopathology? Are we blind in not realizing our fostering a world that will be the death of future generations? Can you see the pattern? Where do we go from here? Is there a change in facilitating peace, love and understanding? To whom do we call? It's us! It's you Reader! It's We the People who has allowed this psychopathic craziness that has lead us towards the destruction of our lives. It's we that must make changes. As a species, we must grow up. No externalized savior is going to get us out of this mess. We are the Savior that we need.

So true. The Japanese used to plan 500 years into the future and break it down from there until western capialism took hold of the country. Europe noted for its many countries having generous social services for decades is also under seige by western capitalism to lose these services for the people. The consequences are dire. Ms. Williamson tried to show us at least part of the way during the debates. But all she got for her trouble was being made fun of by ALL the media. The die has been cast and not lightly. It would take power beyond imagination to reverse the immmense power of the monied interests. They wont have it and will go to war in whatever way necessary to hold their power. That power neede to reverse it is us and it needs to occur now. It could if we can all imagine a sponateous evolution and just do it starting with the dysfunctional money/ economic system at the root of every serious existential crisis we face today, right after the expulsion of all politicians not on board. It would probably best be addressed through constituional revisions forced by the spontaneous evolution and codifying the freedoms and systems that need created, revised or even eliminated. It needs to be clear that the welfare of the people is paramount and depends on democratic monetary system that revolves around that 7 generations of planning and creates real equality of circumstance allowing people to develop the best schools and life long learning including addressing our most dire circumstances now

I'd love to give folks happy sailing in our world of corporations, Donald Trumps, top down governance, while consisting that we have a "Democracy." How long do we foster a lie? We are living in a Fascist State. More to the "quick" we are akin to the "Landowners" of what we refer to as "Feudalism". That was back around the times of Knights and Damsels living "high and mighty" in order to keep the population in line. In line of what? You ask. Look around. Sound it out. We live in a Feudal system in which the "Landowners" own the world. And, we have evolved? Oh, sure, the likes of the Koch brothers smile upon those of what used to be in the "Labor Party"! Interesting term. Isn't it true that women who labor; i.e., in birth? Yes, our Lord and Savior had it right when they stated that women ate an apple which angered God. Why was God angry about about a woman eating an apple, the fruit of intelligence and wisdom? Oh, the rich back in the early centuries had it all. Then those dog-gone women got "uppity" signifying intelligence. That was the meaning of the apple. The fruit of knowledge. Back in the 60's, my teachers stated just that. Apples reflect intelligence. Dag Dawn It! apples are the fruit of Wisdom. Can we see the notion of Labor in women and men who labor for the rich? Yes, the men of the "Labor Class" are basically women in the eyes of Trump, alongside the Kings of the early centuries, the Rothchilds, Koch Brothers, and who else you speak to.

We can be the people of the Apocalypse or we can be the people of the Renaissance. The remedy is simple but politically difficult. Transfer subsidies from crops grown on plowed land to comestibles produced by regenerative agriculture. Transfer subsideies from fossil fuel industries to ethanol produced through regenerative agriculture. Realize the promise of the Constitution and take the creation of money at interest from the private banks and return it to the Treasury the ability to create money without interest like Lincoln did. All would lead to an economic resurgence and environmental cleansing and would not require sacrifices on the part of the 99%. It requires removing power from the .000001% and returning it to the 99% and their governments.

The people can start now by growing their own. During the last great crisis, WWII 40% of the food consumed in the US and UK were grown in Victory Gardens. By doing that the people can take some of the economic power away from Cargill, ADM, Monsanto and their ilk.

The soil can hold 2-3 times the carbon as the air and above ground vegetation combined. All the fossil fuels came from carbon in soil.

Before the invasion of the plow, The Great Plains held more carbon in its soil than the Amazon. By eating grass fed meat, dairy and eggs the people can reverse the damage of industrial agriculture and store carbon in the soil.

The habitat is already too deteriorated in many places. Too wet, too dry, too hot, too unpredictable, and so on. But I still do encourage us to try.

5 Years? When I was seeking venture capital for a project, my business plan had an estimated 2 year pay back and was told: "Investor's expect a 6 month ROI with majority ownership of the company and I just being a "clerk" for my idea, R&D prototypes and creation of molds for products.

After Reagan was elected in 80, the misguided policies his administration pursued, and the modern technologies he transferred to China; now enable the PRC/CCP to threaten US economic/military interests and Taiwan. I had a smidgen of an idea of how bad things were going to get and decided not to have children. Sad that many of my generation did not choose the same for their children and grandchildren will pay the consequences for not doing enough to drastically alter our lifestyles.

I lived in a 160 sf-one room cabin for 12 years with no running water/electricity and enjoy the memories from such a simplistic lifestyle. Now married I upped my living arrangement to a 1,000 sf double-wide, but still drive a 2wd Toyota pick-up. i try to live as humbly as possible, knowing my lifestyle of $22.50 a day is far higher than most who live on 1-2 $'s a day. While teaching in China, I had student's tell me 3 generations of their family of 5-9 lived on a year what I made a month; which was considered a western poverty rate wage.

I'm just thankful to be in my slow downward slide in life and no progeny to inherit the self-created mess humanity has created. We all bleed red, still no where else to inhabit and Hell-bent on wrecking the only place we call home. Busy chasing after worthless paper, some trying to impress others with what they possess and others just barely hanging on. If there is a God, it must be disappointed in what it created.

I meant to click must read, well said, and valuable. Look for the link I posted to the Derrick Jensen and Dahr Jamarl interview, about The End of Ice. Watch the last 10 minutes for some Native American wisdom, which at this point I'd say is what we have left. And maybe all we ever had...
