If your genes came out in America, you're very lucky. Perhaps we owe something more to the world in gratitude. Shouldn't we, who live here, be doing a lot more at home and abroad?

Google "American World Service Corps Congressional Proposal" and pester your congressperson to introduce and enact the AWSC Congressional Proposal that would grow the Peace Corps, and other do-good organizations, to the size Kennedy and Shriver wanted it to be by establishing a robust million-strong AWSC National Service program.
