Our law firm, Rotenberg, Shildlowski & Jesin, sends many clients to Canterbury. Not just for addiction, but for anger management, crisis counseling.
It's very rewarding work. And important for me (and for my kids to see) to give back. Here's the website: http://www.canterburyclinic.ca/.
I'm also very interested in literacy. Last year at the Thrillerfest convention, I met the writer David Baldacci, who does a great thing. Whenever he speaks he has people bring used books, and donates them to a local shelter. I have started doing the same thing, on an informal basis. When I do a reading, I ask people to bring books and then drop them off at Canterbury. It's a start, and I plan to expand this as I go along.
Sounds good. Thanks for talking with me, Bobby; it's been a lot of fun. Good luck with this book and the ones to follow!
