Pillar of Cloud's affect on Israelis didn't extract a great enough pound of flesh. Mass Palestinian casualties and destruction weren't enough. Extremists like Levy demand more.
Greater Israeli casualties are a small price to pay. Others disagree. Tel Aviv Professor Asa Kasher calls his argument "repugnant." It reflects a 'mish-mash of considerations and ideas." He rejects Levy's "blood price" argument.
Dominant Israeli hardliners agree. They control Israel's new government. It's ideologically extremist. It's Israel's worst in history. Expect Palestinians to bear a greater than ever cross.
Expect greater state terror ahead from likeminded Levy ideologues. Intifada activism is needed. Expect it to erupt sooner or later. Liberation depends on it.
