Mr. Pham is a Senior Fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (� ���"FDD� �� �). FDD's leadership includes such notables as Steve Forbes, Bill Kristol, Louis Freeh, Newt Gingrich, Charles Krauthammer, Gary Bauer, Eric Cantor, and Richard Perle, among others.
To draw any conclusions about the authors from these political connections would be to assign guilt by association � ��" the very guilt I decry when they impute such lack of independence to the Nobel Committee. So I won't do that.
Instead, I will suggest the President appear proudly in Oslo on December 10th to accept the 2009 Nobel Prize as a � ���"champion of peace� �� � and leave his detractors to stew in their academic juices over the dishonor they think he has brought, after eight years of George W. Bush,to the people and the Constitutionof the United States.
