The group has a call for the U.S. to get out of Iraq, stay out of Iran, and drive out the Bush regime. In order to promote this call, the group wears orange and ask all that share their desire to see the regime driven out to wear orange in solidarity with them. The orange is not only a symbol of the group but something that promotes conversation.
World Can’t Wait has been criticized for radicalizing the call to impeach Bush and Cheney. The group does have a PR problem and an attitude that normally suggests arrogance and insolence towards those who question their mission. The group should be working more with movers and shakers pushing impeachment. However, with the ability to turn people’s attention to the illegal war on any given day, the World Can’t Wait group is a valuable entity to the peace movement.
