Not only is the media scrambling to justify their defense of Trump, but bastions of the Christian Right who twisted their reasoning into Gordian Knots, is having a hard time supporting the man:
When asked if he ever sought God's forgiveness he said:
"I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don't think so," he said. "I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don't bring God into that picture. I don't."
Problem is, has Donald Trump ever admitted to doing something wrong?
