The same would ring true for tiny Laos bombed with twice the ordinance dropped in all of WW II and Cambodia which suffered the most concentrated carpet booming of nearly half its territory. Both together losing during and in aftermath more than a million and a half of their population.

(Regarding the cruel shelling of villages on the hill surrounding Beirut, Lebanon:
For returned violence of the Beirut Barracks Bombings when two truck bombs sent by 'Islamic Jihad' killed 299 American and French military, US might never be sued in the case of the the United States battleship New Jersey heavy bombardment of Druse villages in Lebanon for more than nine hours on Feb. 8. 1983)

Regarding President Carter's vicious covert attack on a friendly women liberating government with inhuman cold war tactics opening 34 years of genocide:

Afghanistan will some day sue for the CIA, and branch secret services in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, criminally arm, fund and weapons-train hill tribe fundamentalists, playing on their fears of losing control over their women for the women's public school program of the very popular new socialist government in Kabul, insidiously creating a terrorist civil war against a friendly country in order to frighten the USSR on its border to intervene militarily and be sucked into a Vietnam war style trap; [8]
for America's Presidential Advisor Brzezinski having called for jihad against the Kabul government and the Soviet Army defending it, and funding the arrival of Arabs of the extreme Wahabi school of Islam, who founded ten thousand radical local madrasahs in Persian speaking Afghanistan, funding also al Qaida and its leader Osama bin Laden;
for the same criminal  Brzezinski years later bragging about his clever tactic winning the Cold War to French journalists, pooh poohing the resultant "riling up of some Muslims" as a result of his CIA covert actions;
for having continued to fund the murderous non-Pashtun warlords even after the Soviets withdrew and after the fall of the  Kabul government two years later, as these warlords fought each other, leveling Kabul and destroying all civil safety, until defeated by Taliban ["students' in Pashto].
for having invaded and warred for eleven bloody years in all of Afghanistan, sadistically murdering members of its Taliban government still governing the countryside and fighting the white nations imposed, openly corrupt, government of drug lords who have raised the profitable cultivation of opium to highest level ever, while thousands of children freeze to death. [9]

Regarding Almost every country in Latin America having reason to sue the US for reparations and most for wrongful death, injury, destruction of property and theft of natural resources; Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Panama, Mexico having suffered great loss of life most directly.

Regarding US crimes against humanity in Yemen:

Faisal Ahmed bin Ali Jaber is a man on a mission to find the truth behind the drone attack that killed his relatives -- and he traveled thousands of miles from his native Yemen to Capitol Hill to seek it.
Appearing at a congressional briefing, he recounted the story of how his brother-in-law, Salem Ahmed bin Ali Jaber, and his nephew, were killed in a U.S. drone strike last year in the rural village of Khashamir. Because neither Yemeni nor U.S. authorities have provided a reason for the attacks, or offered compensation to the victims' families, Faisal vowed to bring his case to the halls of Congress. The British human rights organization Reprieve provided support, financing his trip to Washington.

Regarding Osama bin Laden in his 2002 Letter to Americans, included "attacks on Muslims in Somalia" in his list of reasons for the al Qaeda 9/11 attack:

During the 1980s, the US backed a brutal dictatorship without regard to great starvation. 300,000 Somalis, mostly children died. [10]

In 1992 US Marines and Rangers killed many Somalis before being pulled out of danger after a lost battle since propagated as another case of American good guys in the movie Blackhawk Down .[4]

Over the next seven years, the US government attempts overtly and covertly with funding and arming and "diplomatic' maneuvering to keep the warlord most cooperative for US investment banking interests in power.

by 2006 a merchant supported moderate Islamic Courts Union, had quickly become extremely popular in the overwhelmingly Islamic population throughout Somalis, and had all but defeated the US backed warlords.

June 16,  10,000 people demonstrate against a proposed UN peacekeeping mission to Somalia..  the Islamic Courts Union.

When the popular Islamic Courts Union government forces finally defeated the warlords despite foreign troops and US helping the warlords, the US trained Ethiopian Army and Air Force invaded and murderously temporarily defeated the Somalian Islamic Courts in turn. [11]

Kenyan armed forces entered Somalia two years ago, with US attack aircraft support, to combat al-Shabaab ("Youths' in Arabic language), who had taken up leading the fight against US supported warlords, when the popular conservative Islamic Courts Union government of their elders was overthrown by the deadly and brutal US proxy Ethiopian Army and Air Force invasion, which brought back  those defeated US backed warlords.

RESULT: More death, maiming, destruction and more importantly creating
STARVATION [Between 2010 and 2012, more than a quarter of a million people died in the famine in Somalia" " Famines are not natural phenomena, they are catastrophic political failures" Oxfam . [12]   In Somalia's case, because the US of genocide destroyed Somalia's chosen government,  During all these decades, famine relief has taken second priority to Western exploitive business interests in Somalia with genocidal consequences.
