If Chicagoans begin to find themselves thinking that what news organizations publish or air is meaningless or gives off a certain aroma of cheapness, perhaps they will be good consumers and move to other sources of news that don't necessarily have a history of establishment in the Chicago metropolitan area. And then, journalists will be forced to refine the way they operate so that Chicago communities can get more from metro news in Chicago.
