(c) most successfully panderering as apprentice to Donald Trump
...it would have been best for me to simply set the microphone down on the stage, walk into the wings, politely decline any and all videotaped wrap up interviews and catch the shuttle back to the hotel - no matter how hurt I may or may not have been to see my life's work treated so shabbily nor how tempted I may have been to question NBC owner General Electric's major role in the diabolical military industrial complex keeping America 'at war' eternally for profit.
It would have been best to keep quiet.
If one persistent producer had led his three man crew to follow me into the holding area like ravenous paparazzi tailing a limo into an infamous French tunnel, I probably would have simply kept my back turned as I packed and ignored each and every increasingly invasive question. If prodded and goaded into responding at all, I may or may not have said directly into the camera, quietly and soberly: "I am not angry. I just don't have anything to say" before turning my back again.
All of this may or may not have taken place after an NBC attorney may or may not have attempted to intimidate everyone by instructing all auditioners that we were not permitted to even share publicly the fact that we had auditioned at all, or not auditioned - even to family and friends - even to spouses.
In retrospect... or not... I may or may not be glad I either went or didn't go, and I may or may not be more or less of a fan than I either was or wasn't before going or not going.
