When connected to our authentic self, we see our inner aggression (what's left of it) as ridiculous, and we can laugh in the face of it. We now refuse to engage with it because we know it has no interest in being rational and because we no longer give it any credence. Our growing ability to see unhealthy dialogue and to recognize its irrationality means we're establishing wise inner authority. With new consciousness, we can stand back from the conflict and find anchorage in our growing sense of self.
