Neptune, in his own home sign of Pisces, stirs the waters and creates the images that arise in our collective unconscious. Neptune is about to leave the first decan (first 10* of a sign) of Pisces, where it has stirred up the collective unconscious so we can see and feel all those people and experiences we reject and ignore as irrelevant--women, children, the Earth, people of color, kindness, the common good, the imagination etc. These rejected parts of our society want in--they want to be included in this new age.

These first years of Neptune moving through his own sign (the most Piscean decan), has stirred up the deep longing and sadness that's lain in the collective unconscious throughout the Age of Pisces. The love of the body and our divine sexuality, the equality of women and men, the wonder of children, the love of the Earth and all her creatures, the honor our elders deserve, the freedom to be ourselves.

We see all these human longings as images arising in Neptune's magic mirror whirlpool.

Now as Neptune heads into the 2nd decan (from 10*-20*) which resonates with the sign of Cancer, it's time for us to Mother a new story into the world. Now Neptune shows us possibilities of healing and creativity for all the wounded and neglected parts of our society and selves. In Neptune's mirror, we see visions of the possible future.

The Sabian symbol for Neptune at 10* Pisces is: An aviator pursues his journey, flying through ground-obscuring clouds. This symbol speaks to our imagination, to our ability to travel without outer guidance, depending on our own intuitive knowledge.

All life is sacred. We are living in a sacred moment and sacred place. This is the kingdom of heaven--if we have the will to make it so. The forces of darkness and regression in the old story are pulling at us with the same amount of fierce energy we are using to get away from that old story. As we are beginning to see this new society and way of being, the old ways are rising to the surface in their most unconscious and virulent forms. The hatred and bigotry and bullying of the worst of the patriarchy is facing us. And we have to face them down.

It is time to Evolve.

Our n ew story sees meaning in life, allows for the sacredness of everything because we see through the eyes of our Dreaming Mind, which speaks in the language of symbols and metaphors. Which sees stories in mountains and forests, the magical in ponds and streams, the wisdom of trees and animals, the beauty of clouds. Jupiter in Virgo helps us to live in a sacred manner, helps us re-story the world with meaning and images. We re-store the sacred to life. We see deeply into the world around us when we are in this sacred space. We open ourselves to the D reaming M ind and rel y on it to guide us through the dance of Life .

This Solar Eclipse New Moon in Pisces is challenged by Saturn in Sagittarius, pushing us to decide what we believe and stand up for it. It will take a leap of faith to trust in living this way. We have to trust that whatever is in our lives needs to be there and is our responsibility to deal with in the best way we know how. The leap of faith is when we trust our D reaming M ind to give us the answers so our W aking M ind makes the right decisions. This is the way we bring together the rich spiritual vision of Neptune in Pisces and the inner authority and spiritual courage of Saturn in Sagittarius that helps us to stand up for that vision.

Another eclipse, a lunar full Moon eclipse will occur in two weeks, just after the Spring Equinox. Plant this magical Pisces seed and dream it into being.

This last New Moon solar eclipse ends an amazingly intense year during which we experienced the repercussions of the 7th and last Pluto/Uranus square that occurred last March 2015--finishing up that astrological year with a bang. That revolutionary/evolutionary energy has resonated within us and woken us up to the state of our world. Look at how people are stepping forward and taking back their lives and their communities and their countries. We haven't seen this kind of activism since the 60s.

People are engaging in the world and standing up for what they believe in, thereby changing the collective story. And there's need for more and more of us to be doing this. If we intend to change the world, we need to be leaders ourselves in creating that new world. We need to make it happen as well as demand it from our political leaders. Our governments are the tools and hubs of collective life. In the U.S., the fact that we've ignored government for so long gave those representatives in Congress the idea that they could do anything they wanted, that they could ignore the will of the people in favor of the will of corporations and wealthy benefactors. It is up to us to Stop Ignoring them and hold them accountable. And hold ourselves accountable for not doing anything about it. Until Now! (thank you Caroline Casey for these magic words! ).

We can't walk away again like we did in the 60s after the Nixon years. The old hippies went into business or spirituality and healing. We left government alone and it was taken over by corporations. Now we have to engage our passion in the world and stand up for what we believe in, to take back our world from corporate interests all around the globe. The care of children and elders, social justice, equality, healing, creativity, business, etc. Whatever calls to you on a deep level is the archetypal energy resonating within you. The originating impulse of Nature and our human nature, as Caroline Casey calls it. Who are you? And how are you taking the Truth of your Being into the world and Doing something about it.

Each of us has a part to play in our collective story--that's another truth we often forget because of our delusions about celebrity and fame. Those delusions have to go back into the chaos of death with the old story--the patriarchal story of privilege, wealth and power. Of having to be chosen or special or rich to matter and make a difference. Now, when you take something away, you can't leave a vacuum or else the old rushes back in. We need to know what our new story is--at least the bare bones of it until we can fill it in with details.

We are being called to live in conscious relationship with the Earth and each other. This new vision of society might entail knowing that we need to have our basic necessities taken care of to be creative and content--Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That it's not about us having things, but about making things. Let's become makers and builders. We are building the foundation of the next Age of the world. We are the Grandmothers and Grandfathers of the Future. What will we leave as our legacy at the most important point in our history? Let's use our imaginations.
