The other strong planetary pattern affecting us this year is the T-square between Jupiter in Virgo/Saturn in Sagittarius/Neptune in Pisces. This tense aspect was grounded during May and June when planets moved through Gemini, the 4 th leg of this planetary triangle. This energy pushes us to explore our faith, our beliefs and our imagination, questioning 'reality'.

Mercury, which picked up information from this aspect at the 2 nd Sagittarius Full Moon a few weeks ago, is very close to this New Moon, adding his take on things to the mix. Being in Cancer, Mercury puts us in touch with our feeling nature and awakens our emotional intelligence about these issues. Venus is also in Cancer, blowing a kiss to Mars as he finally moves forward in Scorpio. This potent combination washes through us with love and desire, not just for mates but for family and friends. We want to keep them safe and happy. It's a good time to listen to our feelings before we act on anything this month.

The Cancer New Moon pulls on all of these planets. Jupiter in Virgo compliments both Pluto and the New Moon, adding faith and optimism to our new seedling. Like a fairy godfather, Jupiter in Virgo puts us in touch with our true nature and gives us the tools for mastering our gifts. The Sabian symbol for Jupiter at 18* Virgo is: A Ouija board. Jupiter gifts us with tools for understanding how Spirit is communicating with us.

Neptune in Pisces bestows on this New Moon the gift of imagination and possibilities--another fairy godfather. We see there isn't just one way to do things, one path to the Truth. But Neptune can also deceive us if left to himself, where we might find ourselves lost in daydreams. That's the magic as well as the tragic gift of Neptune's imagination. We have to have a strong sense of the 'real' to bring the creative imagination through. The Sabian symbol for Neptune at 12* Pisces is: In a sanctuary of an occult brotherhood, newly initiated members are being examined and their character tested. There's that issue of character again. The main issues is can we take responsibility for ourselves.

Spiritual understanding comes from Saturn in Sagittarius. Here is the discipline and focus we need to make the imagination 'real'. However, Saturn is in a very quirky aspect to the New Moon, and you'll find that you have to keep making adjustments to your projects and feelings to align them to your Truth. Time to make it 'real' on many levels of consciousness. We're working toward wholeness. The Sabian symbol for Saturn at 11* Sagittarius is: In the left section of an archaic temple, a lamp burns in a container shaped like a human body. Here's the image of a body again. We have to listen to our body--it actually knows what's going on. As we continue to meet life's challenges, we have to honor our body and Earth's body.

The Body Knows, especially if our soul is awake. The images speak of Spirit and Body and acknowledge the need for their union. This is the birth of the emotional body. That's a good blessing to bestow on our Cancer New Moon seedling.

Here is a beautiful prayer from the Gaiafield Earth Treasure project.

We the people,

Call forth the deepest Wisdom,

The greatest Joy,

And the highest Compassion

From the heart and soul of America

For the benefit of all life on Earth

And the next seven generations.
