Dr. Bob further states, " A huge proportion of our social and medical problems are not reducible to simple formulas, quick remedies, patent medications, and sharp knives ."  He promotes natural remedies, " Not made in colorless, robotic, sterile factories, but in magical, life-giving realms. "  He visualizes the Universe as " A veritable way station of multitudinous energies " that we can draw upon to support life and health for all of us. Our Universe, more specifically our Earth, engenders and supports life. Most of our health needs can be met in Nature with the help and wisdom of our community. Only in emergency situation should we need to turn to the interventions of big pharma and the surgeons.

Dr. Bob, the frugal physician, prescribes instead:

USE COMMON SENSE-Medicine and physicians are for emergency situations

BE PATIENT-Illness eventuates over time.  Healing must also move from the inside out over time.

BE SMART-Use your dis-ease and pain as learning opportunities.

BE ENTHUSIASTIC-Put your mind and heart into seeking re-solutions by focusing on the soul of things.  Give and grow, live and love, and wholeness and health will surely grow.

Bud, the baby doctor, who is an "Old soul returned to Earth"in one of Dr. Bob's books, puts it this way: " Let me suggest that we do live in a world of possibilities and that we all take time to consider more of the possibilities within our planet, our patients, and ourselves." One of Bud's patients concludes that Bud (Dr. Bob)  taught him an important lesson: " There's no doubt about it.  Fear is the question, but love is the answer." Hmm, love is the cure; could lack of love be the cause of our maladies?
