Damn, I have to say, I could vote for Nina Turner for president. Her passion, her brilliance as a speaker, her integrity. She could be the one.
RT @kgosztola: Nina Turner: Our very presence is a changing of the system in America's history - that we are the change. #pplsummit at

Thomas Frank starts the next panel. He points out that all Centrists know how to do is win-- and they do it by selling people out-- "the Democratic party has given things up piece by piece and all they have to show for it is NOTHING.
Frank says, "This world is in a state of eruption. As inequality grows and the middle class falls apart, this world is in a state of eruption. The Democrats don't understand how Nina Turner spoke. They're something very different. Today they are a party of upper middle class, very affluent, white collar professionals. They're not interested in populism. They are a party of highly credentialed, of the upper 10%. You cannot build a movement of the common people if you hold the common people in contempt"
There's a lot more to share, but I want to get this up.
Naomi Klein, Amy Goodman, David Sirota, Van Jones, Danny Glover, Jim . Hightower, Thomas Frank, Becky Bond, Bill McKibben, Winnie Wong (from what I dug, Winnie was the moving force in putting this amazing event together.)
