Honor is before everything, said Napoleon I and he at least knew how to be honorable. He never avoided responsibility and accountability for his actions. Our US leadership had elevated cowardice to the level of virtue and they all deserve not the Legion of Honor but the Legion of Dishonor award. There will be a competition among the recipients.
The rule of dishonor manifests itself in breeding dishonorable people and dishonorable deeds. Our country is in a seizure of dishonor. Lies had become Truth. War had become Peace, Hate had become Love. Our current leader openly praised war while receiving a Nobel Prize for Peace(!). Our foreign policy is the policy of war. We are all involved in some kind of a vicious circle of guilt, lies and dishonor while our elite has fun and calls us asses at the covert dinners. The whole political life of the US since Y2001 was and is an exercise of unbelievable dishonor, accompanied by sacrilegious howling and rise of anomalies like Tea-Party and so-called Conservative movement. Our media had been dishonorable all along; it is now really on the roll, doing cheap propaganda without even being paid. The level of professional qualification in certain professions, like politics, media, intelligence had fallen down to the negative values and it spreads further on; already a vast majority of the so -- called leaders of the private enterprises can be qualified as ruthless, malicious, greedy but surely not smart and not wise. There is no honor among thieves. Demons are really having a feast now and if there is anyone who truly celebrates the 10 years of mayhem, those are them. The Legion.
I hope we all know what happened in the Bible. Jesus transferred the Legion into the herd of pigs and then those pigs all went off the cliff. Good riddance. I love the story. I hope there are still enough honest and honorable people in this country to make the right conclusions. I hope we are a bigger Legion. And we stay firmly on the ground. This is our place and here we stand. Dishonor should go to Hell where it belongs.
