After American or Israeli forces attack, the Iranians will likely retaliate using ballistic missiles, attacking Israeli cities and American bases around the Persian Gulf. Attacks against Israel should prove ineffective. Iran has a small inventory of missiles that have the necessary 1,300 km range to strike targets within Israel, according to Globalsecurity.org, and since the First Gulf War, Israel has developed an effective anti-ballistic-missile program. The Iranians do have a sizable arsenal of shorter-range missiles that could be used to strike American targets in Iraq.
Although Patriot Missile batteries proved effective against Iraqi missiles in the second Gulf War, it may be possible to overwhelm individual batteries. Only 54 such batteries were deployed during the second Gulf War, defending staging areas in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. There are likely fewer systems in theater at the moment, and American bases are dispersed throughout Iraq, making them harder to protect. By firing enough missiles into the Green Zone in Baghdad, the Iranians could decapitate the Iraqi government and kill a large number of American military leaders. This is meant to be a sister article to “Independence Day Is Coming - Let’s Make It A Real Day For America’s Independence!” and “Call to Action July 4th- Get off the internet, I’ll see you in the streets!” Whether the Truckers strike is immaterial; we need them just as they need us, but after you read and understand “why” it’s so urgent to stop Bush from Bombing Iran, it is apparent that in order to quash his warmongering and attempts at overthrowing Democracy in America, to do nothing is literally suicide for our country as a whole - and while the rich may survive, the Middle-class and poor will be in a panic just to figure out how to feed our families and find the money to get to work.
Celebrate the 4th of July this year with a renewed vigor and spirit. Remember the principles and beliefs that caused our nation to be created with a constitutional framework to guarantee that tyranny could never show its ugly head here, but now, without a free press, the people are largely ignorant and believe many the lies the Bush administration publishes on a daily basis through their bought and paid-for MSM. Further, when and if you protest, don’t forget the MSM who are as guilty and complicit as Bush himself - and as they cut jobs by the thousands, remind them that one network could dominate everyone else if they would just “sound the alarm” and report the truth to the bulk of the population and state exactly what is at stake and the true price for failure.
On Tuesday, when it’s time to go to work, eat some tomatoes during the holiday weekend, and call in sick with salmonella that the CDC can’t seem to pin-down, but has nevertheless affected over thirty-three states. Yes, you’ll lose some wages, but knowing that higher gas and food prices are right around the corner mitigate any money you might lose in the short-term, and Congress and this Presidency need to be reminded that it’s “we the people” who own and operate America, not them. A simple work-stoppage will send a message and will force Congress to take immediate action. This nation doesn’t operate without the people working diligently to keep things flowing, and now, our efforts are supporting nothing but war and financial collapse - so what’s the point?
This could be one of our last chances to make a difference before the Middle-East, and possibly the United States on our own mainland, are embroiled in a war that will destroy what’s left of our country. Most of you have children, grandchildren, and family that will be sucked into the system as the draft will be re-implemented to support another war - and our quality of life will be one that should make everyone shudder. Mine is only one idea, however, there are organizers and activists that can take this framework of protest and turn it into a reality - but it will take your support and understanding that if we fail to act, like the Jews in Germany, we are sealing our fate by “hoping” that someone brings sanity to Washington, which so far, has been a pipe-dream that has done nothing but further allow Bush to retain and grab more power to effectively complete his Grandfather’s legacy -one that is contrary to the American way of life and is treasonous when we look into the may ways that Bush has dismantled our system of checks and balances and made the United States the Fourth Reich, all the while condemning other nations for curtailing the freedom of its countrymen, a project that PNAC and Bush have been working on for decades. It’s also time to put out collective foot down and demand that Congress vote for the health and safety of the American people, not the interests of AIPAC and the radicals that are taking over Israel much as they have in our nation.
The evidence and substantiation is here. You can choose to watch our society implode with other war, or you can act as patriotic Americans and do whatever it takes to make Washington vote the will of the people, and don’t forget, even for a second, that the United States belongs to us, not the politicians and elitists that are running our country into the ground!
Independence Day is coming, and as Americans, we must re-declare that independence and refuse to knuckle-under to AIPAC and the lobbyists that are spending millions to keep the government from halting oil speculation, the true reason why gas and diesel prices are rising faster than our ability to cope with their rise. Read the above articles in-depth, and understand that it’s not me that predicting war with Iran, but Israel, the United States, and most of the global news media that still prints much of the truth, making our own MSM seem insignificant and ineffective. We owe it to ourselves, but even more, we owe it to our children and grandchildren, and the countless hundreds of thousands whom have died in the pursuit of liberty and freedom.
