In America, liars make millions and people who tell the ugly truth go to jail. In America, corporations have rights and air travelers don't. The President made a joke about that, isn't that funny? Searched by a gestapo to get on a plane? In America, they appoint a consumer affairs director to work in the basement of the Federal Reserve. Why not a director of doing good deeds? Why not an official Wizard of Oz? It is a fantasy. There was a time when Big Brother and Orwell's "1984" were considered a dystopic fantasy. Today we are far past that point.

America invaded and waged war on two countries based on lies and fabrications, and who was held accountable? Our laws morph to whatever the corporate government wants to do. When the TSA asked for funds to purchase the airports scanners from a former cabinet secretary, the House and Senate turned them down. The TSA bought them anyway.

The fallacy should seem obvious just by the President's total failure to mention the sixteen million unemployed or the millions who lost their homes last year. It was, after all, the State of the Union, but the people who comprise that union were ignored. It should also be obvious to the dullest dullard and dimmest dimwit that our Congress has become a resting place for the unbalanced--the more absurd the better. A man or woman with good ideas can't get off the mark, but a Michele Bachmann or a Paul Broun not only get elected, but move to the front of the class.

Then there are Supreme Court whose justice's make political speeches at partisan rallies and play golf with the former Vice President. Clarence Thomas's wife took a job at the Heritage Foundation and the Supreme Court justice did not list her six figure income on his tax return. He's been given yet another pass from what is a criminal act, because by today's surreal standards it is not seen as noteworthy. It is not seen as noteworthy because the bulk of our population are brainwashed by the same corporate interests that chose the election candidates.

Then tell them our soldiers should be fawned over, and tell them the Federal Reserve is working to create jobs, and globalism is good for us. That we should be more like China or India! The defense budget has increased from 360 billion dollars to a trillion dollars in ten years but a 10 percent cut in funding is fair.

The only legitimate role of government is for the protection of and to provide for the well being of the populace. This government is beyond an illegitimate government, it is a satire of itself. A caricature, beyond a caricature.

I who am I? Born at the pinnacle of American prosperity to parents raised during the last great depression. I was the youngest child of the youngest children born almost between the generations and that in fact clouds and obscures who it is that (more...)
