Fear tells us that something "will" happen. Well, sometimes there's a *possibility* that something *can* happen, but that's not the way fear talks to us. It says "The worst *will* happen" and shows us the movie in living color.

Don't buy it. Fear is a liar. It exaggerates. And as before, I forgot all about the wild turkeys living in my area. Pigeons frequent the cities and pigeon potpies were once the norm. The point is: We will be taken care of. We are not alone. And we sure won't sit by idly without helping ourselves. That's all just fantasy. There's always a way.

Remember? Necessity is the mother of invention. Quiche was once poor man's food, coming from the farmers. SOmeone must have been in dire straits to make phyllo dough and strudel, which now has become a world delicacy. When we are down and out, we get creative, finding clever ways a-plenty to survive. And who knows? Maybe the best delicacies will come from such days. Maybe ADD and violence will calm down as we go back to living on the calming wave of nature. THank God thorns have roses.

This quote summarizes the nature of my concerns and the content of personal experiences which stir my activism: "Necessity is the plea for every infringement on human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves". --Paul (more...)
