JB: You've done all of them in the last several months - that's quite a burst of creativity! What was it about Bernie's candidacy in particular that brought this creativity out of you? And what has been your message in these other videos?
EH: I was compelled to advocate for Bernie Sanders because there is so much mis-information or blatant ignorant dis-information about what democratic socialism is. Being born and educated in France, I have seen many of Bernie Sanders' proposals work very well without putting an excessive tax burden on citizens. Actually, when you add up in the USA the costs of preschool, health and other insurances, property taxes and college education, you see that it is much higher than taxes paid in Europe! A few examples of "advantages" offered in a democracy that is more supportive of the middle class:
Free preschool education starting as early as 2 years old
Almost free college education (it's only about $300 a year for a Bachelor's and $400 for a Masters)
Universal healthcare
When I researched the content of Bernie Sanders' platform and how he was proposing to finance it, when I heard him deliver inspired and inspiring speeches, and most of all when I researched his past, I was sold. He has been fighting all his life for what is right, starting with the civil rights movement. He is honest and righteous. To me, he is the only one proposing to lead the USA towards a better country. The other remaining candidates would make our country worse and, as shown in the polls, they are not trusted by a majority of Americans.
I was extremely inspired by him and decided to amplify his message with my videos. The messages in my videos are his messages to the American people. I also honor the movement and the people in this movement by simply showing it because the mainstream media does not. This blackout from the media really got under my skin because it is anti-democratic. The current media are not at all playing the role they should play in our society. They are no longer informative. They are the instruments of the powers who own them to mis-inform and brainwash the public. Thankfully, we have now platforms on the internet where concerned citizens can show the reality, report on and analyze current events.
My latest video published June 28, 2016, is about Hillary Clinton's character, showing the reality and let people decide what they believe is true.
The title is "Aboveboard" and I do not need to speak. I truly do not understand that her supporters do not care about her character and examples of bad judgement seen over the years. It's a mystery to me how people chose to be blind or buy the well rehearsed Clinton argument of a right wing conspiracy against them! They have used it since Arkansas actually with success.
JB: I'm very much looking forward to checking out these videos. I'm glad you brought your European perspective to Bernie's proposals; It's very instructive. Tell us more about your logic-driven fairy tale, Elisabeth. Share how you pieced together what you know and what you imagined and what the "happy ending" looks like, please.
EH: As you see in the video "Are the Clintons Being Played?", I start with the reason why I made the video. It was extremely surprising to me to see the president, the vice president and Elizabeth Warren decide to endorse a candidate under FBI criminal investigation and showing an abysmal approval rating. I gathered a timeline of true facts and inserted in the timeline missing links that I imagined to make sense of it all. I could have gone another way and imagine another cynical ending based on a cynical view of politicians (many people in the comments say "they are all corrupt"). But my goal was to cheer up Bernie's voters, especially after the California results showing again voter suppression, rigging and complicit mainstream media blatantly omitting important facts such as California three million ballots not yet counted on the night of June 7, 2016. So I chose an ending based on the assumption that Obama, Biden and Warren might not really want Hillary Clinton to win, hence their plan, explained in the video. With this optimistic ending, Hillary Clinton's possible indictment is announced before the DNC Convention and Bernie becomes the nominee with Tulsi Gabbard. This ticket also bring a woman who is a veteran and elected official as vice president.
For the people who do not appreciate Bernie Sanders, my fairy tale does not have a happy ending! But for those who Feel the Bern, I can say they will be very happy with the way it ends!!!
JB: I read today that Hillary is meeting with the FBI tomorrow/Saturday. That's good news and bad news. It's late in the game if an indictment is going to come before the Democratic National Convention. Your thoughts?
EH: I read that Hillary Clinton's lawyer has been delaying the meeting for some time now so it is good news that it is finally happening. All the evidence already made public via WikiLeaks, Guccifer 2.0 and Judicial Watch shows that an indictment is likely to occur but media favorable to Hillary Clinton (CNN, in particular) are also saying that according to "sources close to the investigation" no charges will be found. Unfortunately, a part of me is cynical and not quite sure I can trust the justice system. We shall see! I do sincerely hope that my theory will unfold as predicted, though.
