Hmm. But then, feeling that he had, perhaps indeed gone over the top, quickly added this denial: “And so we feel plugged in. And we feel we know a little bit. But I don’t keep up with all this legislation.”
Go figure. A man who needs to be in power and control. A man who was not able to grieve and get over the fact that he was a one term president and used all the power, money, and dirty tricks that he could to sit his son in the oval office; a man who has just admitted that he makes ... err, misses making decisions and had once upon a time promised the nation that, “this son of mine will not disappoint you”, now says that he does not “keep up with all this legislation.”
One almost wants to shout out at the television, Liar, liar. Pants on Fire!
Truth, once again, presents itself like a void that the Bushes must and do run away from.
