As terrorism gets worse (as it most assuredly will) as our actions and methods of fighting it worldwide will create ever more extremists willing to sacrifice themselves in retaliation against us, this widening of terrorism will continue to justify our draconian methods against them. It becomes a self perpetuating phenomena of action and reaction; endless war.

So we are not interested in defeating terrorism or the consequences of our creating new terrorists in our war against it.

When there are terrorism attempts on our shores, whether they are successful or not doesn't matter. They create fear in the people who will then support all the government's attempts to fight it.

There is no debate on the nature of terrorism and the best ways to counter it in this country, so the people remain clueless, kept in the dark, propagandized and distracted from the nefarious purposes behind our militarism and hegemony all over the world (seen everywhere else in the world [except ourselves]as U.S. imperialism).

We are a rich country but our treasury is being bled by the profligacy and cost of our worldwide militarism.

We are the world's greatest debtor nation propped up by the Chinese and Japanese holding trillions in U.S. Treasury notes. We have demolished our industrial base through globalization while sending those jobs overseas. The financial crises and the subsequent economic calamity's they produce are worsening. Meanwhile no effective measures are enacted to prevent their reoccurrence.

From here it is all unsustainable. Our empire is built on arrogance and hubris. We are heading for a rude reckoning and the likely fate of all the other empires that existed before us.   It seems all but inevitable.
