And Pennsylvania state law makes it clear what the Democratic governor and the Democratic secretary of state must do once the votes are counted.
According to the Republican leaders of the General Assembly, "The secretary of state presents the election results to the governor, who certifies the election, establishing the list of electors. Any challenges to that are handled by the state's courts as required by the Pennsylvania Constitution."
They continued, "The General Assembly has a sworn duty to follow the Constitution and the Election Code, which does not involve the legislature in the process of choosing electors. There have been zero discussions occurring within the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and Senate about changing this provision."
Republican leaders in Pennsylvania are on the record.
Now journalists and activists must press GOP legislators in other states to reveal if they support democracy.
