Not only should Matthew Whitaker not be Attorney General, he should not be allowed to set foot in the Department of Justice without handcuffs and shackles. This is the resume of the man that is now in charge of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe into obstruction of justice, Russian conspiracy and any other related matters, now including bribery and money laundering.
And what are Whitaker's widely known and publicly professed views of this undeniably productive investigation?
Pre-judgement that there is no collusion, Moscow did not interfere and there's no evidence of obstruction. It's a political fishing expedition becoming a mere witch hunt that needs to have its reins pulled back and its scope limited. Trump can kill the probe for any reason and is immune to any obstruction of justice charge. Financial matters cross a red line and the investigation should have its budget cut so low it grinds to a halt.
Shamefully, CNN tried to legitimize this scoundrel by reposting his views from last year the day he was appointed.
Trump's appointment of Matthew Whitaker is obstruction of justice on its face, because the heart of obstruction is intent, and there can be no intent in illegally appointing an unqualified completely biased loyalist under criminal investigation other than obstruction of the Mueller probe.
