Isn't it eerie these domestic horrors we hear about so often occur in well-to-do, mostly white suburbs and everyone interviewed is "shocked" this could occur in their manicured environs.
Too bad there isn't shock and horror by such people or most Americans for that matter at the horror their government commits in its wars and occupations, the torture at Guantanamo or at Abu Ghraib some years earlier. But that's whole other story that most Americans don't want to hear about.
What most Americans do react to, just like those in the upscale "burbs" of Waukesha, are only domestic horrors that get their attention and cause shock to people.
