I think this is particularly significant, as it is a bona fide reflection of similar tactics used by both Republicans and Democrats across the land, but especially by Mitt Romney, who has clearly been infected with the lying disease, a condition frightfully prevalent amongst those who have risen to power in these parts. (I personally find this ironic because most Mormons, or Latter Day Saints as many prefer to be called, are among the most honest folks I've met--and I hail from New York, a century or so ago).
Getting back to the televised recent debate that third party Senatorial Candidates were not made aware of or invited to, I was told by one sponsor that this choice of candidates was based on polls, wherein you had to have a 5% rating. Which polls, no one could say. The other producer informed me there were no polls, but it was more of an executive decision; also, had we asked, I was informed, we would have been invited.
As it turns out, Constitutional Party Candidate, Shaun McCausland did make a request to be invited to the debate and was assured that his message would be passed to a person in charge.
It doesn't take more than a first grader to see a scam of this nature, and maybe not more than a third grader to see that Money is God to all too many adults. As I've noted on my own website, voteutah.us, I propose to serve as a moral compass for Utah and the U.S. (and I positivley believe either of the other third party Senatorial Candidates could do a far better job than we're seeing now).
