Is there evidence or not? It doesn't matter if the prosecutor personally believes the party is guilty, it's the evidence or lack of it that counts. Sometimes we tend to forget that a prosecutor's responsibility is not only to take a case to court when the evidence clearly warrants it but, also, to refuse to do so when it can't be justified; regardless of how badly the police demand that an indictment should follow.
And, in this current situation I would say that the police would be represented by the leaders of the Republican Party and that Comey has caved into their demands.
Let the evidence show that the FBI Director has now proven that he cannot stay neutral in this email controversy and investigation and, that by entering into the middle of this election process, he can no longer be depended on to carry out the responsibilities of his office in a professional manner.
And, further, that he should be urged to immediately resign; and if he refuses, he must be dismissed.
