A US/Israeli military attack on Iran isn't likely to happen because such an attack would make the Iranian people coalesce around its government to do anything to repel the attacker. The Iranians would see it as there's nothing to lose making them an adversary we haven't seen since we lost the war in Vietnam. Should a war break out... it most probably would bring the world's worst economic calamity since the 1930's depression.
I don't think the American people are prepared for that.
In 2020 we should be prepared for anything this presidential election year, particularly if Trump believes he could possibly lose next November.
