The issues that people are talking about now, especially how money dominates politics in this so-called "democracy" is something that I have been writing about for almost 20 years. It is just now that people are understanding that the military and this country is being used by corporate interests. People are starting to realize that the Department of Defense receives 55% of the discretionary budget of the United States of America. People also starting to realize that we are engaged in a never-ending wars and that Democrats and Republicans are responsible. They all vote to fund the military.

If it wasn't for Donald Trump, and the hatred that so many people have for him, most Americans would've just stayed asleep. Now that they feel threatened by the things he says, and the things he does, people are waking up to what is happening in this country. My only hope is that the people who still consider themselves Democrats understand that it will be a gargantuan effort to change the direction of that political party, that is largely bought by corporate interests that support the military-industrial complex. It sounds impossible, but even inside the Democratic Party, you must still battle those that are in control.

Our senators, our congressmen, and our judges are bought by corporate interests. That is not an opinion, is fact. Every person that has a seat in the Senate is a millionaire. They might not have been millionaires when they were elected, but they are millionaires now. Almost every representative we have in Congress is also a millionaire. The richest ones are the ones who have been there the longest. How does someone with the salary of a congressman become a multimillionaire? This is a question that all people in America should be asking. "Open secrets.org" is a website that will tell you who is funding every candidate running for office. It just takes a second to look who is financing the campaigns of these politicians.

Do you agree?
