The Hatter nodded. "No surprise there. But there are many other unmentioned players that might have motives--and benefits--from arranging a tragedy. Hatred, chaos, and war are terrors for some, and opportunities for others." His eyes narrowed, "In any case, another thing they're not talking about much on the 'madestream' media is a missile."
"I heard something. They ruled it out--Isis doesn't have a missile that can go up that high, where the plane was."
"Perhaps not," said the Hatter. "But, several countries do. A heat-seeking missile could be launched, deliberately or accidentally from land, sea, or even a submarine in the deep. An Atavia jet was brought down in the Ustica Massacre in Italy in 1980 and there's lots of speculation as to the cause even today."
"I'd love to go to Italy this year," chimed in Alice. "Ah, Firenze-- Soberly. "But I don't want to fly. It's scary."
In unison, Rabbit and Hatter: "Too late. You're flyin' already."
