We have already quite voluntarily — and in a wholly un-American feckless stream — surrendered much of the substance of our civil rights, all on the mantle of “a little temporary safety.” Take the 75 minutes required to view The End of America, a film by Naomi Wolf. If you’ve got 90 minutes to sit in front of Dancing With The Stars, or four hours for football games on Sunday, but don’t have the interest to find out what you and this country are losing, and what you need to do to get it back, please, please, please never again rise for the National Anthem, or ever again either think of yourself or call yourself an American. The country has been and remains under attack, and it needs defending NOW.

* So forsaken has any quest or concern about how the wonderful machine was intended to work that we have as a candidate for vice president a woman who is wholly ignorant of even the office she aspires to fill (“The vice president is in charge of the Senate. He gets in there and stirs things up, working with all the other senators to pass legislation . . .”), and legions of her supporters who themselves are equally as ignorant, and who do not care that they are.
