From my research and having been a military wife for 23 years, the Republican Party is pro-war. War promotes big profits for the military/industrial complex and President Eisenhower in his farewell speech warned us about this. Our war in Iraq was not about Saddam Hussein. It was about oil. Our war in Afghanistan and Pakistan is not about the Taliban. It is about the resources of those countries.

Therefore, I urge those of you reading this to do your own research and to observe what is going on around you and how it is affecting our economy. We had hope when Obama was voted in, and then the hate promotion began and weakened his position. He also learned perhaps that he was not in charge. Perhaps he learned that the military now is in charge for the corporate world. It is something to think about.

Your vote is precious, and it is the last bastion we have since the Supreme Court and the Cheney-Bush regime did what they could to trash our Constitution.

Why not contact your national representatives and demand a law be passed that corporations are not a person and have no right to vote or participate in elections. Change must begin with each of us. Please use your vote wisely.
