The Journal lied, falsely accusing Venezuelan security forces of using "gunfire (that) left hundreds injured," failing to explain that violence was instigated against soldiers and police. They responded in self-defense with tear gas, no live fire used.
The Journal lied, claiming "two trucks carrying food and other supplies were torched by Venezuelan forces." They were set ablaze by anti-Bolivarian elements on the Colombian side of the border.
The Journal cited "Colombian authorities" as the source of its report. Its US controlled fascist/narco regime opposes Maduro and democratic governance.
The Journal: "The failure of the opposition to bring in the promised humanitarian aid to Venezuela left many wondering what its next move would be."
Venezuelan pollster Luis Vincente Leon was quoted, saying the plot to oust Maduro "is distant from (achieving its) goal," adding more "battles" remain to be waged. Indeed so, waged by Trump regime hardliners against social democracy, he failed to explain.
Al Jazeera said "(t)he opposition has given up on getting the aid through at least for today."
According to AP News, "(a) US-backed campaign to force President Nicolas Maduro from power met strong resistance Saturday from Venezuelan security forces" blocking Trojan horse "aid" from entering the country.
Reuters said Pence will meet with Guaido on Monday in Colombia, adding stiff new (illegal) US sanctions on Venezuela could be imposed the same day.
CNN, the most distrusted name in US television, quoted Pompeo denouncing Maduro as a "sick tyrant," ignoring his democratic election and reelection.
The London Guardian lying machine is as disreputable as its US counterparts. Siding with the Trump regime and Guaido against Bolivarian democracy, it quoted neocon warmonger Marco Rubio threatening Venezuela with greater toughness.
The rest of its report on Saturday events in the country was an exercise in mass deception. The same goes for US establishment media
