Al Jazeera caught this contrast quickly in the two-part report presented here. He stormed and blustered, but he never advocated torture and murder. His followers echo this rarely crossing the line between active dissent and outright violence. Although many Americans have taken part in the settler movement, we have not seen the level of aggression typical of US adventures.

It is a big mistake to equate Jewish Right Wing Fundamentalism with the American or Muslim varieties.

The Israeli exploitation of the Palestinians is much more subtle. In 1981 the Israelis assumed control over the bulk of the water resources under the West Bank. In practical terms an Arab has 90 liters available to him every day. The World Bank places the amount needed at 137 per day. The Israelis use 234 liters per day.
