So, now that we are beginning to learn about the real damages done by a greedy multinational oil company in their quest for a quick buck, I have to ask how the deluded public is going to handle government malfeasance and complicity in the cover-up of crimes against humanity and outright fraud ? Should we simply suspend reality for the benefit of receiving a BP check in exchange for not suing them ? Really, folks .... I used to like shrimp, lobsters and other sea-food from the Gulf, but it doesn't look promising. And now we learn that the man in charge of the BP clean-up efforts, has just died in a private plane crash; did he know too much ?
While we are the subject of crustaceans .... what do you think of the "Party-of-No", now that they have stopped unemployment payouts, would not pass legislation to overturn DADT, and preach about continuing the Bush tax cuts in order to create jobs ? The neurons, axons and dendrites within my cranial cavity are all twisted up in knots trying to figure out how it can be that anyone with a third-grade education will suspend their disbelief on this one. Reality is that during the Bush years of tax benefits for the wealthy, we added 5.2 million jobs, while the previous Clinton administration added 22 million, before tax cuts. It just doesn't add-up, and yet the Party-of-No is demanding that we eliminate the budget-deficit; but first, they insist we add $700Billion of un-funded burden (tax cuts for the wealthy) to it before we eliminate it. Huh ? ...... Talk about a suspension of disbelief ..... just how far do they believe they can they push the seeple-minded American public before the gig is up ? I believe they are trying to find out.
OK, "...... now somebody give some good news before my dendrites start beating the crap out of my axons and my dopamine level exceeds what is humanly possible, and I awaken in the gutter outside a Best-Buy store with a video-war-game controller in my hand.........
